Prawn Noodle Stir Fry with Sweet Chilli
This recipe makes a delicious sweet chilli prawn noodle stir fry. The stir fry is made with king prawns, noodles and delicious fresh vegetables.

- 200g king prawns
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¾ teaspoon onion granules or powder
- ¾ garlic granules or powder
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sunflower oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 small brown onion peeled and sliced
- 150g tenderstem broccoli chopped
- 2 medium carrots peeled and sliced
- ½ medium red bell pepper sliced
- 120g egg noodles (dry weight) or 300g fresh egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
Devein, rinse and dry your prawns then season with the salt, black pepper, onion granules and ground ginger. Add the sunflower oil to a frying pan and place on a medium heat. Once the oil has heated, add the prawns and cook for around 3 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Use a slotted spoon and remove the prawns from the pan then set them aside. To the same pan, add and heat the sesame oil. Add all the vegetables to the pan at once and stir fry the vegetables for 4 minutes.
If using dry noodles, cook them according to the instructions on the pack, strain them and add them to the pan with vegetables. If using ready prepared noodles then add them directly to the vegetables. Add the prawns back into the pan and toss to combine all the ingredients. Pour in the soy sauce then the sweet chilli sauce and mix until combined. Remove from the heat and serve.
