Lemon and Herb Chicken Wings
These chicken wings are marinated in a lemon and herb marinade that is made with fresh lemons and a selection of herbs.

- 750g - 900g raw chicken wings
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce reduced salt
- 1 lemon juice squeezed
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon oregano chopped
- 1 tablespoon thyme chopped
- 1 tablespoon rosemary chopped
- 1 tablespoon sage chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
Place the cleaned chicken wings into a large bowl then season with salt, black pepper and onion granules. To a smaller bowl, add and mix the olive oil, soy sauce and lemon juice then add and mix in the garlic and all the herbs. Pour the marinade onto the chicken and ensure all the chicken is coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
Remove the chicken from the fridge and allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to gas mark 6/400oF/200oC/180oC fan and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the chicken wings with the marinade onto the tray and ensure there is space between them. Bake them for 45 - 50 minutes turning the chicken halfway through. Optionally, transfer the tray to the top shelf for the last 10 minutes to broil. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before enjoying with your favourite side.
