Easy Baked Honey BBQ Spare Ribs
These baked ribs are so easy to prepare and they are perfect as a main for dinner or as finger foods for a party.

- 1.2kg pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon bbq sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce reduced salt
- 3 tablespoon clear honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds garnish
- 1 spring onion garnish
Add your cleaned ribs to a large zip lock bag or large bowl. Add the salt, black pepper, paprika, ground ginger, oregano, garlic powder and onion powder. Rub it into the meat ensuring the meat is fully coated then set aside for a minute.
To a smaller bowl, add the olive oil, BBQ sauce, soy sauce and honey. Mix them together then pour onto the seasoned ribs. Ensure you fully coat the meat with the marinade. Lock the bag or cover the bowl if you are using and refrigerate for around 2 hours or overnight.
When you are ready to cook the meat, preheat the oven to gas mark 5/375oF/190oC/170oC fan and lightly grease a baking tray. Place the ribs onto the baking tray and cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes then remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
