Meat Ingredients
- Oil - use any oil for cooking.
- Mince - I use lean minced beef with 5% fat for this recipe.
- Onion - use a brown onion.
- Garlic - use fresh garlic cloves.
- Seasonings - salt, black pepper, onion granules, garlic granules and paprika.
Salad Ingredients
- Lettuce - I use romaine lettuce for this recipe but you can use any lettuce.
- Onion - for the salad I use a red onion.
- Avocados - I use a hass avocado.
- Tomatoes - I use cherry tomatoes.
- Gherkins - or burger pickles.
- Cheese - I use cheddar cheese for this recipe.
Burger Sauce Dressing Ingredients
- Mayonnaise - I use reduced fat mayonnaise.
- Mustard - use America mustard.
- Ketchup - use any type of ketchup.
- Vinegar - use white wine vinegar.
How to Make Cheeseburger Salad Bowl
1. To a frying pan, add the sunflower oil and place the frying pan on a medium to high heat. Once heated, add the beef mince, onions and garlic. Break up the mince and stir until there is no pink left on the meat.
2. Add and mix in the salt, black pepper, onion granules, garlic powder and paprika. Add the water to the pan and reduce to a low heat. Allow to simmer for 25 minutes or until the water has dried out then turn of the heat and set aside.
3. Place all the salad ingredients together in the serving bowls then spoon the minced beef onto the salad and sprinkle on the cheese. Mix all the burger sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and drizzle on the salad then serve.

- This recipe serves 2 but you can easily double the ingredients to serve 4.

Ingredients
