How to Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
1. Add the cleaned chicken wings to a large bowl and sprinkle on the salt, black pepper, paprika and crushed chilli. To a smaller bowl, add the garlic, parsley, soy sauce and olive oil then mix. Pour the marinade onto the chicken and ensure it coats all the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for around 4 hours but preferably overnight.
2. When you’re ready to cook the wings, preheat the oven to gas mark 6/400oF/200oC/180oC fan. While the oven is heating, line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil then place the wings on the tray and ensure there is space between them. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
3. While the wings are in the oven, melt the butter in a microwaveable bowl at small increments of 20 seconds until fully melted. To the melted butter, add in the parmesan, mix then set aside.
4. Remove the wings from the oven and place the wings into the bowl with the butter and parmesan. Mix all the wings into the sauce until all the wings are coated then add the content of the bowl back into the baking tray. Spread the wings out again and then bake for another 15 minutes. Once baked, allow the wings to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Tips
- If like me you clean your chicken before cooking then it’s ideal to clean your sink and the areas around the sink with disinfectant after you clean it. Also try and avoid the water splashing everywhere while cleaning. Ensure there are no plates or cups nearby.
- If you are using more wings then 750g then add a little more of each ingredient. The good thing about this recipe is that all the ingredients don’t have to be exact.
